DESAN 361R - Visual Development and Character Design
This course, for the students who elect to take it, is a rigorous and jam-packed learning experience in visual development. With the assignment to create 2 appealing character designs per week based off of a weekly prompt, students quickly expand their visual library and design abilities. The course covers a variety of aspects, such as style, shape, color, costume, prop design, caricature, expression, and environment design. The students receive a critique each week and are compared against industry professionals, pushing them to aspire to the highest standards.
