CSANM 258 - Scripting for Animation

In this course, students learn the basics of scripting (coding) in both MEL and Python to procedurally build a park and a village, interpreted however each individual student would like. Because of the looseness of the prompts, each student faces a series of coding challenges that they must solve in order to make the code work. Because technical problem solving is becoming a higher-demand skill in the industry, this class is a required class that gives all students, artistic and technical alike, a basic knowledge in problem solving and procedural building.
