The Intro to 3D Graphics class is designed to give you a basic knowledge in creating good artistic compositions within a 3D medium. Your first assignment in this class will be to build and pose a lego minifig model into an aesthetically pleasing composition. Your second assignment will be to build an insect of your choice, also placed into an aesthetically pleasing composition. You will have to submit at least 2 CG digital pieces in your animation portfolio, and the pieces you create in this class may be used in the submission. When we are reviewing submissions, special attention will be given to the ability to create a good and balanced composition as well as the attention to storytelling detail given to the pieces.
