Intermediate 3D Computer Graphics
This course, taken in the first semester upon acceptance to the animation program, is a one-assignment-for-the-entire-semester class. The students are given the objective to create a "still life", however they would like to interpret it, and make it as appealing and well-composed as they can. It is especially impressive to note that the students have often had no other experience with 3D graphics other than the premajor classes they took while preparing to apply. Their improvement from their lego and bug projects to this level of control is stunning.
